August (Gus) Van Eepoel

401 East Jackson Street
Suite 1700
Tampa, FL 33602

Gus Van Eepoel's tax practice encompasses not only estate planning (including revocable and irrevocable trusts for real estate, life insurance, limited partnerships and charity), but also business organization structuring for family businesses, entrepreneurs and agricultural landowners. Gus represents closely-held businesses in the development of strategies for expansion, merger, sale, succession planning, and "buy-sell" shareholder agreements. His accounting and teaching experiences add a depth to his counsel that facilitates team work with the family's accountant, banker, financial advisor and life insurance consultant. Multi-generational wealth planning frequently is considered.

Due to Gus's comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience in these areas, he frequently consults in connection with probate litigation about inheritance rights and trust administration/distribution, as well as civil lawsuits about corporation and shareholder disputes, operating agreements for limited liability companies and limited partnerships, and LLC membership issues.
