Michael Marsh is a partner in the Litigation Practice Group at Akerman LLP. His national business litigation practice concentrates on high stakes securities and other class action defense, proxy contests, antitrust, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, D&O liability, shareholder disputes, RICO, money laundering, and sports and entertainment. Michael's practice also helps clients navigate corporate governance and compliance issues, including matters arising from federal and state agencies investigations. He handles high value employment matters, including providing pre-termination strategic advice to employers. Michael has tried complex jury and non-jury lawsuits and has litigated before various federal and state courts nationally. Drawing on more than 25 years of business litigation experience, Michael has provided strategic and other advice to clients on issues relating to day-to-day operations and major restructuring.

Prosecuting multi-billion dollar antitrust and related tort and contract claims in the District of Delaware arising out of government-mandated divestiture of grocery stores. Grocers/retail industry.

Litigated securities class action filed in Las Vegas, Nevada emanating from M&A transaction valued at approximately $500 million. Pharmaceutical industry.

Represented Fortune 100 public company in securities class action relating to a shareholder rights plan. Restaurant industry.
