Jed Freeland has represented buyers and sellers in mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations in a broad range of industries, including health care, education, banking, insurance, wireless telecommunications, software, publishing and food distribution. Jed has represented venture capital funds in the completion of early and growth stage equity investments. He has also worked on a broad range of debt and equity financing transactions, as well as general corporate representations and employment and governance matters.
Prior to joining Akerman, Jed was an associate with a New York law firm, where his practice focused on mergers and acquisitions.
