Julie Gallagher represents numerous types of healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, and other business entities which interact with government. Her practice involves complex issues concerning state and federal regulation of healthcare providers, the pharmaceutical industry, and other regulated industries.
Although Julie's practice has been particularly focused on the representation of physicians and other practitioners in disciplinary proceedings before state licensing boards, as well as pharmaceutical companies under the purview of the Florida Department of Health, Julie is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in State and Federal Government and Administrative Law. As a result, she handles numerous matters, including litigation, on behalf of clients whose businesses are increasingly impacted by governmental regulation. She routinely deals with matters before numerous Florida agencies including, but not limited to, the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration, the Department of Health, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the Department of Financial Services, and the Office of the Attorney General.
On the federal level, Julie interacts with the Health and Human Services Department and its various agencies including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Office of Inspector General. She also provides proactive business planning and risk management advice to many entities including pharmaceutical companies, individual healthcare providers, and healthcare facilities.
