John Burke has over 25 years of experience advising clients on intellectual property issues with a focus on pharmaceutical and biotechnology patent law, including related patent strategy, opinion work, licensing, due diligence and prosecution matters. Previously, John has headed patent practices for the regional offices of several international and national law firms. John has also served as General Counsel for Deltagen, Inc., a functional genomics and drug discovery company located in the San Francisco bay area and as corporate patent counsel for Cortech, Inc., a Denver based biopharmaceutical company.
