Rogelio (Roy) Carrasquillo is a shareholder in the Corporate Practice Group. He possesses significant experience in a wide variety of complex legal transactions. He advises domestic and foreign companies, multinationals, and entrepreneurs on their business activities and investment consideration in the United States and throughout Latin America, Asia, and Europe, including cross-border transactions. He also focuses on corporate finance and infrastructure development, with an emphasis on Puerto Rico and the Latin American region.

Rogelio has experience in handling equity and debt offerings registered under U.S. securities laws, the issuance of equity and debt in global transactions not subject to the registration requirements of U.S. securities laws, principally Rule 144A and Regulations S offerings, 1934 Act, and 1933 Act Compliance as well as with corporate governance matters.

Rogelio regularly represents developers and investors in the financing and development of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and waste to energy. Rogelio also represents developers and Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) syndicators in the development and finance of affordable multi-family, elderly and single-family housing, including mixed financing developments.
