Jay Koren has more than 30 years of experience in state and local tax matters including tax planning, state tax voluntary disclosures and state tax audit representation with a concentration in Florida controversy and dispute resolution. He has represented more than 125 of the Fortune 500 companies in Florida, providing counsel on tax planning, statutory and constitutional issues in corporate income tax, sales tax, communication services tax matters, audit defense and protests, and drafting of technical opinions. Previously, Jay was with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he was the partner in charge of the Florida State and Local Tax Practice since 1999. Jay's clients include companies in banking, brokerage, retail, telecommunications, insurance, and manufacturing.
