Samantha Schosberg Feuer is an experienced trial attorney who concentrates her practice on complex commercial litigation with a focus on representation of clients in the investigation and litigation of civil racketeering (RICO) and related matters. Additionally, she defends corporations in state and federal government investigations and lawsuits involving claims of false advertising, fraud, and deceptive and unfair trade practices under The Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA). Samantha also has substantial experience in the investigation and defense of employment litigation for management including non-compete agreements, theft of trade secrets, and discrimination in the workplace. Samantha has experience in over 30 jury trials.

In addition, Samantha has experience in the litigation of consumer claims across various industries, such as mortgage, timeshare, debt collection, credit counseling, and credit repair. She has litigated claims arising out of state and federal protections laws, including Fair Debt Collection Practices (state and federal), Timeshare and Telemarketing Vacation Plans, the Foreclosure Rescue Prevention Act, the Lanham Act, False Claims Act, and Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization (RICO) Act. She also has experience in the area of receiverships, including the requirements and proof necessary for the appointment of a Receiver in complex ligation matters.

Prior to joining Akerman, Samantha worked for the Office of the Florida Attorney General where she served as the Chief of the South Florida Bureau, Consumer Protection Unit, and previously as an Assistant Attorney General. While there, Samantha investigated and prosecuted antitrust lawsuits, in conjunction and collaboration with the Federal Trade Commission. She is experienced handling government investigations, regulatory enforcement matters and complaints, internal investigations, and complex civil litigation involving fraud. Samantha also served as an Assistant State Attorney in both West Palm Beach and Miami.
