Charlie Brumback serves as the office managing shareholder of Akerman's Orlando office and is a long-time member of the firm's Board of Directors. He has more than 30 years of experience representing lenders and corporations in a broad range of legal matters. Charlie has represented clients in hundreds of loan transactions, of all sizes, including loans involving mortgage-based and asset-based collateral. Notably, he served as lender's counsel in a $500 million syndicated, revolving line of credit. His client work has included representing SunTrust, CHEP, AAA, Fifth Third Bank, Regions Bank, and others in numerous lending and corporate matters. Charlie also has extensive experience in floor-plan related lending for motor vehicle dealerships.

Representation and counseling of lenders in workout situations involving both secured and unsecured relationships, including negotiations with other creditors, assessing and improving lenders' collateral position, and negotiating tighter financial covenants with borrowers.
