Nancy Copperthwaite has more than 20 years of experience litigating cases throughout Florida. Her practice focuses on complex litigation disputes, including class actions and appeals. In addition, she advises employers regarding employment law issues and represents broker-dealers in securities litigation matters.

Nancy has handled more than 100 appeals and has argued in all five of Florida's district courts of appeal (DCAs) as well as in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She also has handled several trials, including jury trials, and arbitrations before AAA and FINRA. Her background is diverse, particularly in appellate matters - she has handled appeals arising from bankruptcy proceedings, class actions, complex commercial matters, employment discrimination disputes, securities cases, and family law and trust disputes. She served as Chair of the Appellate Court Committee of the Dade County Bar Association and was a member of the committee that organized the Third DCA 50th Anniversary Gala in 2007.
