Christopher Carver supervises and conducts all aspects of federal and state civil litigation at trial and appellate levels, including case management, motions and pleadings, oral argument, depositions and written discovery, mediation, and trial. Areas of practice include class action defense, arbitration, admiralty and maritime, antitrust, civil rights and electoral law, contracts, covenants not to compete, general commercial litigation, insurance law, injunctive proceedings, internet issues, intellectual property, securities, trade secrets, and unfair competition.
 
Representative Experience

Represented a veterinary hospital in obtaining a dismissal against putative class action claims alleging willful violations of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA). See Torongo v. Roy, 176 F. Supp. 3d 1320 (S.D. Fla. 2016)

Represented a major airline in the defense of alleged Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA) violations, concerning the failure to truncate credit card information on receipt.
