Jim Bramnick is the Akerman Labor & Employment Practice Group Chair. He has almost 40 years of experience exclusively representing management in labor and employment law. Jim's broad range of experience in all aspects of labor and employment law includes jury trials in employment discrimination cases in federal and state court, day-to-day preventive counseling for employers, "how-to-avoid" training sessions for supervisors, and advice for companies during union organizing campaigns. He is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Labor and Employment Law, a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, a past chair of the Labor and Employment Section of The Florida Bar, and has been continually recognized by Chambers USA and The Best Lawyers in America.

Represented many different employers in federal and state court in summary judgment motions.
Provided legal advice to many employers through union organizing drives and secret ballot elections for their employees under the National Labor Relations Act.
Provided legal advice to a number of major Florida employers through significant reorganizations and reductions-in-force.
Represented a major Florida employer in a number of labor arbitration hearings.
Provides day-to-day advice to major South Florida financial institution on employment issues arising in the workplace.
