Joel Maxwell is a shareholder in the Land Use & Entitlements practice. He previously served in the Miami City Attorney's Office, most recently holding the positions of Deputy City Attorney and Interim City Attorney. He also assisted in the management of the Office and served as Acting City Attorney in the City Attorney's absence. During his tenure, Joel served as legal counsel to the Mayor, City Commission, City Manager, City Clerk, Downtown Development Authority, Election Canvassing Board, and almost every major board and agency of the City of Miami.
