Kenneth G. Alberstadt is chair of the Securities Practice at Akerman Senterfitt, resident in the firm's New York office. Ken has broad capital markets experience and has advised clients in connection with initial and secondary public offerings, PIPE transactions, Rule 144A offerings, Rule 506 private placements, venture capital investments, consent solicitations and other equity and debt transactions. Ken has worked extensively with the firm's foreign private issuer clients in connection with the offering of securities in the US markets. He has expertise in reporting and corporate governance matters and has served as outside general counsel to several public companies. Ken also maintains an active practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and private equity. He is a member of the firm's Corporate Department and is active in the firm's Latin America & the Caribbean Practice.
