Akerman Senterfitt's Carrie Ann Wozniak Appointed to Advisory Board for Ninth Judicial Circuit's Teen Court

Akerman Senterfitt announced that Carrie Ann Wozniak, an associate in the firm's Litigation Practice Group, has been appointed to the Teen Court Advisory Board for the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida.  

As a member of the advisory board, Wozniak acts as a resource to volunteers that operate the diversionary court designed to help teens involved in first time and less serious offenses.

Wozniak focuses her practice on appellate law and commercial litigation. She is a former Florida Supreme Court law clerk and represents parties through the appellate process, including direct appeals, interlocutory appeals, and extraordinary writs. She also has experience prosecuting and defending cases in both federal and state trial courts on behalf of a diverse spectrum of clients, including financial institutions, commercial landlords and tenants, real estate developers and builders, and other commercial entities throughout the United States.
