Jennifer Williams was quoted in the Human Resource Executive article, "Labor Abuse -- Or a Golden Opportunity?" The article discusses the practice of unpaid internships and the potential problems that can arise.

Williams states, "One of the pitfalls companies fall into is the tendency to have some sort of informal process regarding internships, in which the child of a client or a friend needs an internship that isn't necessarily connected to a for-credit program at a college. HR needs to ensure there's some structure around the internship, so that the intern is getting the requisite amount of training and education and it meets the DOL's guidelines."
