Jason Lichtstein Authors Column on Florida's Key Brownfield Financial Incentive in the Florida Specifier
June 5, 2012
Jason Lichtstein recently published a byline article, "Florida's VCTC Incentive Remains Strong as DEP Approves Record Number of Credits," in the Florida Specifier, an environmental trade publication.
In the column, Jason discusses how Florida's Voluntary Cleanup Tax Credit (VCTC) incentive, a program that provides a state tax credit on eligible environmental costs paid on brownfield sites and certain drycleaner sites, remains strong and provides a boost to Florida's redevelopment sector. This year, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection approved $6.2 million in VCTC awards, the highest single-year total award in the program's history.
