The Orlando Business Journal posted news of Akerman Senterfitt's representation of Winter Park Urology Associates P.A. and Urological Ambulatory Surgery Center Inc. in an article titled "Florida Hospital Medical Group completes sale of Winter Park Urology P.A." Winter Park Urology Associates P.A. and Urological Ambulatory Surgery Center Inc. sold their combined assets to Florida Hospital Medical Group and Adventist Health System Sunbelt Inc., doing business as Florida Hospital.

Ownership in the property was retained by a majority of the shareholder doctors in Winter Park Urology Associates, prompting Akerman to negotiate a long-term lease with Florida Hospital, with an option for the tenant to buy the building within the next three years.
 
The Akerman team, led by Robert Slavkin, of counsel in the Healthcare Practice Group, consisted of lawyers from across various of the firm's practice groups, including shareholder Beppy Owen in the Corporate Practice Group, shareholders Russell Hale and Beth Alcalde in the Taxation Practice Group, of counsel Scott Price in the Real Estate Practice Group and associate Alia Luria, also in the Corporate Practice Group.
