Neisen Kasdin's Comment Featured in South Florida Business Journal Article
June 29, 2012
In a South Florida Business Journal article reporting on the groundbreaking of the $1.05 billion Brickell CitiCentre mixed use project in downtown Miami, Neisen Kasdin commented on its complexity. He represents Swire, the developer, and is also vice chairman of the board of directors of the Miami DDA and co-chairman of the Urban Land Institute 's 2012 ULI Charles H. Shaw Forum.
He said the project is the most sophisticated Miami has ever seen for several reasons, including its use of public transportation, specifically the incorporation of Metromover into the project; its sustainable design; and its placement in a dense, urban location. It will also have underground parking, which is a complicated engineering feat.
