U.S. News - Best Lawyers Ranks Akerman Senterfitt Among "Best Law Firms"
Akerman Earns More National Tier 1 Rankings Than Ever Before

Akerman Senterfitt today announced that U.S. News – Best Lawyers has recognized the firm among the 2013 "Best Law Firms" in the United States. The publication ranked 30 of the firm's practice areas nationally, including Akerman's Corporate, M&A, Financial Services, Real Estate, and Litigation teams. U.S. News – Best Lawyers also awarded the firm a National Tier 1 ranking in five practice areas – more than double the number from last year –  including International Arbitration, International Trade and Finance Law, and three areas of Litigation: Real Estate, Construction, and Bankruptcy. In addition, the firm received 69 Tier 1 Metropolitan Area rankings in local markets across the nation.

The Best Law Firm rankings follow the recently released list of The Best Lawyers in America. The firm achieved record results with 132 Akerman lawyers in 52 practice areas from 14 of its offices named to The Best Lawyers in America 2013 list. The firm also was recognized as one of the top 10 law firms in the United States by number of lawyers in 22 practice areas.
