Ginny Childs was featured in the Baldwin Park Living article titled, "Building Hope for Single Parents," for her work with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando Area. The article highlighted her contributions as a member of the organization's board and its work of building 224 homes in Central Florida to date, as well as her assistance in empowering women towards sustainable homeownership.
"They're paying for these homes and when you are working and you buy something with your own money… that is a very liberating, very prideful thing that I think encompasses the heart of the American dream, Habitat really gives that to people," said Childs.
