Neisen Kasdin, office managing shareholder of Akerman Senterfitt's Miami office and a member of the firm's Real Estate Practice Group, will be the keynote speaker at the 2013 Latin American Conference held by the Urban Land Institute Mexico Chapter (ULI Mexico).

This year's event, taking place September 25 to 27 at the Eden Roc Hotel in Miami Beach, is themed "The Mexico & Latin America Momentum." Developers, investors, brokers, and urban planners will gather to discuss the latest real estate trends, challenges, and opportunities across the Americas. Guest speakers will examine issues impacting Mexico's real estate industry including the growth of South America's capital markets and strategic responses to global demand, investment opportunities in Central America, and master-planned communities throughout Latin America including urban infrastructure developments in Brazil.

Kasdin, a ULI Trustee, governor and past chair of the ULI Southeast Florida/Caribbean District Council has spoken and written extensively on urban revitalization and land use and works closely with Latin American developers and investors seeking new business opportunities in the U.S.

ULI is a global nonprofit education and research institute with members representing the entire spectrum of land use and real estate development disciplines. The ULI Mexico serves as a forum for international real estate communities to exchange information about the use of land in Latin America.
