Akerman LLP, a top 100 U.S. law firm serving clients across the Americas, today announced that it has represented B/E Aerospace Inc., the world's leading manufacturer of aircraft cabin interior products and of logistical services of aerospace fasteners and consumables, in its $145 million acquisition of Vision Oil Tools LLC, a leading oilfield services provider.

The deal expands B/E Aerospace's recently launched oil and gas services business and provides it with a new geographical base of operations in the North Dakota and Rocky Mountain regions.

The team representing B/E Aerospace was led by Carl Roston, co-chair of the firm's Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Practice Group, and Mary Carroll, chair of Akerman's Corporate Practice Group.
