400 HR Professionals and In-House Counsel

Akerman Senterfitt hosted its annual day-long seminar on Labor & Employment Law on Thursday, May 6 in Hollywood, Florida. More than 400 HR professionals and inhouse counsel attended the event and explored important issues in labor and employment law, including the latest updates on the Family and Medical Leave Act, compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act, the status of employees versus independent contractors, and retaliation and whistleblower claims.
