Governor Charlie Crist today announced the appointment of Jim McCann, a Shareholder in the firm's Litigation practice, as one of three appointments to Florida's Fifteenth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. The Commission is charged with the responsibility of submitting nominations to the Governor to fill circuit court judicial vacancies as needed. His appointment term begins September 29, 2010 and ends July 1, 2014. Jim, who is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Business Litigation, is recognized for his handling of bench and jury trials, appeals, and dispute resolution in a wide variety of cases throughout the state.
