Akerman Senterfitt represented Trivest Partners in the successful recapitalization of Onepath Systems, LLC, a leading systems integrator that designs, deploys, and maintains commercial IT solutions. This is the second deal in which the firm has represented Trivest in 2010. Trivest is a private equity firm that focuses on partnering with middle market founder/family-owned businesses in the United States and Canada. Jonathan Awner, Scott Wasserman and Robin Schafer worked on the corporate aspects of the deal, Bill Arnhols and Tom Cookson handled the financing, William Sullivan advised as to tax matters, and Eric Rapkin negotiated a related real estate lease.
