The firm was able to swiftly secure landing rights and necessary approvals with the U.S. and Cuban governments for M2Jets to fly its maiden voyage during a historic week for U.S.-Cuba relations. The neighboring nations celebrated the re-opening of the U.S. embassy in Havana.

The first flight to Cuba, on August 11, 2015, establishes M2Jets as part of a select group of private charter companies to provide services to the island.
