Top 100 U.S. law firm Akerman LLP is proud to announce that the firm is once again a Silver Sponsor of the Dallas Hispanic Law Foundation’s (DHLF) Amanecer luncheon. The DHLF is a 501(c)(3) organization that promotes and enhances opportunities for Hispanics in the law through scholarships, grants, and internships, awarding more than $500,000 since 2006. The Amanecer luncheon is DHLF's primary funding vehicle. All of the proceeds will go to supporting DHLF’s programs. This year’s Amanecer luncheon was held live for the first time since 2019, on May 25that the Arts District Mansion (home of the Dallas Bar Association). Today the DHLF awards more than $50,000 in scholarship, bar study grants, and internship stipends to 15 Hispanic law students.
