Press Release

We are proud to share that Jackie Scarinci has been selected by GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum for their "CRE's Fifty Under 40" list. The list recognizes ambitious and talented professionals, under the age of 40, who hold solid track records of noteworthy transaction volume and significant contributions to their company’s overall success.

Scarinci is a partner in Akerman's New York office where she focuses her practice on advising property owners, developers, lender, institutions and nonprofit organizations on a wide range of land use, zoning, regulatory, and transactional matters affecting the development and use of real estate in New York City. She works with architects, engineers, designers, and environmental consultants to achieve strategic results for clients. She regularly prepares analyses of real estate development potential to establish the highest and best use of property for clients.

Among her accomplishments, GlobeSt. noted her work on a controversial and landmark rezoning application for multiple landowners in the Bronx, which will bring nearly 400 units of housing, a new supermarket, commercial space and a community center. The project gained the attention of New York City Mayor Eric Adams because of the city’s need for affordable housing opportunities.
