Latin Lawyer reported on a transaction led by Peter Eccles Ramon Abreu de Lima on behalf of Tembici Participações, S.A., a micro-mobility start-up based in Brazil. Akerman represented Tembici as it raised $47 million in venture funding to expand its electric bicycle offering and further invest in research and development. Tembici, with an 80 percent share of the Latin American micro-mobility market, operates throughout Brazil, and in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Santiago, Chile. Akerman worked jointly with Brazilian law firm Eick Haber Grezzana & Nascimento, based in São Paulo.
