Economic Development and Incentives Practice Chair Steven Polivy was quoted in a Crain’s New York Business article titled, “Here's where Amazon could put HQ2 in NYC,” in which he provided an outlook on the economic incentives at play if the online retail company decides to move its second headquarters to New York City.

Crain’s New York Business wrote, “‘They could save millions of dollars per year,’” said Steve Polivy, an attorney at Akerman who is an expert on arranging incentives for firms. Polivy said the savings will depend on which site or sites Amazon commits to and how many employees it hires.”
