Steven Cordero was sworn in as president-elect of the Puerto Rican Bar Association, Inc. (PRBA) for 2020 and will become the 64th President of the PRBA in 2021. Founded in 1957, the PRBA is one of the oldest affinity bar organizations in the country and represents the interests of attorneys, judges, law professors, and students in fostering professional development and addressing issues that are important to the Puerto Rican and other Latino communities in New York.

Cordero focuses his practice on commercial litigation in federal and state courts, mediations, and arbitrations. He defends and prosecutes on behalf of a wide range of clients, including law firms and businesses, actions pertaining to commercial, professional liability, insurance, real estate, and employment disputes.
