Asami Ono focuses her practice on domestic and international M&A transactions and strategic investments. Asami regularly advises multinational companies across various industries on corporate transactions, international joint ventures, corporate restructuring transactions and other general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Akerman, Asami practiced at a top 40 Am Law 200 law firm and has also worked at the legal department of a Japanese multinational manufacturing company focusing on compliance. During law school, Asami interned at the Office of International Affairs (OIA) at the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition.
