Dennis Lueck, Jr. is a partner in Akerman's Consumer Financial Services, Data and Technology (CFS+) Practice Group. Dennis represents a wide array of financial services companies in state and federal litigation and arbitration. He regularly defends financial services providers against individual and class claims brought under RESPA, TILA, FCRA, FDCPA, and TCPA. Dennis also defends mortgage lenders, investors, servicers, and other financial services providers against borrower complaints alleging violations of state statutes, wrongful foreclosures, and debt collection statutes. He also has extensive experience investigating allegations of financial fraud, in addition to litigating title claims and disputes over homeowners' association lien priority.
Dennis has tried more than 30 civil cases to verdict on numerous subjects in state, federal, and ADR courts. He also audits, develops, and enhances processes within applicable regulatory and compliance frameworks, while counseling clients on responses to regulatory inquiries and litigation avoidance.
Dennis' experience includes a wide variety of commercial litigation and bankruptcy related actions, as well as disputes over trade secrets and intellectual property rights.
