Odette Ponce is an associate in the Government Affairs and Public Policy Practice Group. Odette counsels clients on international trade, sanctions compliance, and licensing and enforcement matters. Odette represents clients before federal agencies such as the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and the Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS). Her focus is on advising U.S.-based companies on the types of business transactions that are permitted under the Cuban Assets Control Regulations, Export Administration Regulations, and various country specific sanctions programs under U.S. law. 

Odette also experience representing corporate and individual clients on matters related to complex commercial litigation, products liability, motor vehicle liability, and premises liability.
