Akerman will host a State Bar High School Diversity Pipeline event. The program objective is to introduce law firms, corporate, government and not-for-profit legal departments to talented minority students in Georgia's high schools who have expressed an interest in pursuing a career in law after college and that provides educational programs designed to help such students achieve their goals.

The program will feature about 20 high school students and the program’s organizers and a panel of attorneys who will discuss their specific practice areas and answer questions from the students.
