Akerman is a sponsor of the American Bar Association's (ABA) 16th Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference. Amy Gaylord, Co-Chair of Akerman's Traditional Labor Law Practice, is serving as the Management Track Co-Chair for the Labor Management Relations Track of the conference and will speak on a panel titled, "Protected Concerted Activity." In addition, Genaira Tyce will speak on panel titled, "U.S. Women’s Soccer: Advancing Equity and Equality through the Collective Bargaining Process." The annual conference brings together top practitioners representing employees, employers, unions and government agencies, as well as neutrals, in-house counsel and academics in formal and informal settings.
