Akerman is a sponsor of the 15th Annual Southeast Florida Regional Climate Leadership Summit, presented by Southeast Florida Regional Climate Change Compact. This annual major event will share knowledge, showcase climate action, engage leadership across sectors, and mobilize the collaboration needed to tackle this significant challenge at scale. Spencer Crowley, Akerman partner and Commissioner on the Biscayne Bay Commission, the Miami River Commission and the Florida Inland Navigation District, will represent Akerman at the Summit.

This year's theme, "Transformative Climate Action" will inspire innovation in every field ranging from electrification and equity, to engagement, green infrastructure and more. Innovative thinkers and leaders from the business, government, academic, and nonprofit community will have the opportunity to exchange dialogue and ideas on expanding the region’s capacity to respond to climate challenges and build climate resilience.
