David Blum and Stefi George will speak at the Institute for Professionals in Taxation's (IPT) 43rd Annual Conference. David is speaking on a panel titled, "VDA and Amnesty Programs - You are My Only Hope!" The panel will discuss the benefits and risks associated with voluntary disclosure and amnesty programs, how to determine if these programs might be right for your business, and the general rules associated with these programs. Stefi is speaking on a panel titled, "How to Successfully Navigate Tax Audits and Appeals and Minimize Liability," which will offer guidance on how to effectively manage an audit, how to engage in successful document communication, how to properly build an audit file to minimize liability, and how to protect the record for a successful appeal, should it be necessary. In addition to their speaking roles, David and Stefi are also members of the IPT conference planning committee.
