Eyal Berger will speak on a panel discussing the most recent equitable mootness doctrine case law and its application to Trustees and attorneys in the Eleventh Circuit. Presented by the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, fellow panelists include the Hon. Erik P. Kimball, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, S.D. Florida, and Hon. Sage M. Sigler, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, N.D. Georgia.

This program is designed to assist Trustees in identifying when bankruptcy specific issues become final and non-appealable in the Eleventh Circuit. The panelists will explore finality of bankruptcy plans, sales, loans, assumption/assignment of executory contracts, objections to claims, and adjudicated avoidance claims.
