Akerman is a sponsor of the Iranian American Bar Association (IABA) Annual Nowruz Gala. The IABA is one of the most prominent minority bar associations in the United States, with nine established chapters nationwide. The Annual Nowruz Gala will feature and recognize Los Angeles chapter members for their contributions to the IABA and leadership within the community.
