Janis Cheezem will speak on a panel titled, “Retail Realities: Leasing & Landlording in the Age of COVID,” hosted by CREW Miami. The program will begin with a leasing update and the latest in retailer expansions and bankruptcies followed by a deep dive into COVID-related topics, including rent collections strategies, newfangled lease clauses, and the characteristics of new deals being inked. Panelists will discuss the current state of the retail market, the effect of the pandemic on landlords and tenants and how they have had to adapt.
