Akerman is a sponsor of the Jewish Federation of Broward County's Young Leadership Division's Signature Event. The purpose of the event is to celebrate current and new members, and to fundraise toward the Federation's Annual Campaign which supports many programs in the local Jewish community as well as abroad.
