Akerman is a panel sponsor at the LAIPLA Spring Meeting 2019 presented by the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Law Association (LAIPLA). Ellen Robbins will speak on the panel titled, "Venture Capital and Technology Start-ups." The panel will include venture capitalists, in-houses legal personnel from Silicon Valley and Silicon Beach, and other deal makers who will discuss the current landscape for technology start-ups, and the venture capital funding that helps companies get on their feet. LAIPLA is one of the nation’s premier intellectual property law associations.
