Michael Goldberg, partner in Akerman's Bankruptcy and Reorganization Practice Group, will speak at the American Bankruptcy Institute's 2022 Alexander L. Paskay Memorial Bankruptcy Seminar on a panel titled "Allocating Precious Resources in the Face of Disaster." Michael and fellow panelists will discuss the collapse of the Surfside condominium in Miami, and the resulting receivership and other disasters that have forced insolvency professionals to allocate resources, sometimes importing tort concepts.
