Montoya Ho-Sang will speak on a panel titled, "Student Affairs Litigation Review and Lessons Learned" at the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA) Annual Conference. The panel will cover a number of timely topics from recent litigation and offer practical advice for lessons learned from those cases, including:
- Student conduct litigation, including cases involving student hazing and student deaths
- Tuition refund class actions and lessons learned for the post-COVID shift to online teaching
- Access to student records: FERPA vs. FOIA
- First Amendment and student speech
- Student accommodations, including mental health accommodations
- Trans rights on campus
