Akerman is a sponsor of the Power of 10 fundraising event presented by the Posse Foundation. The Posse Foundation identifies and recruits urban public high school students with outstanding academic and leadership potential and sends them in Posses - supportive, multicultural teams of 10 students - to top colleges and universities around the country. The Power of 10 is a celebratory event that recognizes the strength of a Posse as well as diversity in higher education and the work place. The event will include a brief program honoring special guests and alumni followed by a festive reception with entertainment.
