Akerman has organized a community fundraiser with the St. Baldrick's Foundation, the world's largest volunteer-driven fundraising entity for childhood cancer research. Ten inspired attorneys will shave their heads in solidarity with child cancer patients in an effort to gather the local community to participate and raise $50,000 for the cause.
