Stefi George will speak on a panel titled "The Role of Platform Companies in Digital Economy Tax Compliance" at the American Bar Association's 22nd Annual U.S. and Europe Tax Practice Trends virtual conference. She will discuss platform companies, or companies that provide a virtual space for transactions between sellers/service providers and purchasers/users, and what is required of such companies to facilitate tax compliance and enforcement. Topics will include the post-Wayfair legislation from the U.S., DAC7, and European states' pre-DAC7 rules.
