Akerman is the sponsor of the September Tech Swizzle, hosted by the LAB Miami. Akerman is the first law firm to establish an office space at the LAB Miami, an entrepreneurial incubator located in the heart of Miami's Wynwood Art District, a rising center for innovation for U.S. and international entrepreneurs. The event is the kick-off of a series of Tech Swizzle networking socials to be held at the LAB the first Friday of every month. The gatherings are designed to bring the tech, art, design, music, and business communities together, without an agenda, to connect and share in a social setting.
